Day 01: ARRIVAL IN THRISSUR - TRANSFER TO GURUVAYUR
Morning: Arrive at Thrissur Railway Station. You will be picked up and transferred to Guruvayur
(approx. 30 km, 1-hour drive). Check into your hotel in Guruvayur.
Late Morning: Visit Guruvayur Temple, a renowned Krishna temple in India.
Optionally, visit the nearby Mammiyoor Temple.
Afternoon: Visit the Punnathur Kotta Elephant Sanctuary, where you can see temple elephants.
Evening: Explore the local market or relax at your hotel.
Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Guruvayur.
Day 02 : ATHIRAPPILLY SIGHTSEEING
Morning: After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Guruvayur.
Drive to Athirappilly Waterfalls (approx. 60 km, 1.5-hour drive), often referred to as the Niagara of
India. Spend time enjoying the scenic beauty of the waterfalls and surrounding nature.
Afternoon: Continue exploring the Athirappilly area, including the Vazhachal Waterfalls if time
permits.
Evening: Drive back to Thrissur. Check into your hotel in Thrissur.
Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Thrissur.
Day 03: THRISSUR SIGHTSEEING AND DEPARTURE
Morning: After breakfast, visit the Vadakkunnathan Temple, a significant cultural landmark.
Explore the Thrissur Round and visit the Thrissur Zoo and Museum.
Afternoon: Visit the Shakthan Thampuran Palace, now a museum showcasing Kerala’s heritage.
Evening: Visit Our Lady of Dolours Basilica and the Bible Tower for panoramic views of the city.
Drop-off at Thrissur Railway Station for your departure.
