Day 01 Cochin/Munnar
Arrive Cochin airport or railway station. You will be met on arrival by our representative and will be driven 04hours to Munnar. One of the most popular hill stations in India, Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 Mts above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India.
Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience. Munnar is essentially a tea town. The tea plantations have now been taken over by the Tata Tea Company. The visitor is greeted with miles and miles of unending tea plantations on entry into Munnar. On arrival, check in to the hotel for 02 nights stay.
Rest of the day relax and enjoy the cooler climate of the hills.

Today morning after breakfast leave for the unguided sight seeing trip of Munnar, visiting the Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town, the town market etc.
If time permits visit Eravikulam National Park where you may see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr.

Day 03 Munnar/Thekkady
Another leisurely start to the day. You will be driven 4 hours to Thekkady in the Western Ghats mountain range. Thekkady boasts one of the largest game parks of India - the Periyar Tiger Reserve, where you may spot the elusive tiger and more likely elephants, wild dogs and a large variety of birds. On arrival at Thekkady check in to the hotel.
There is plenty to do in and around Periyar. Perhaps enjoy a boat ride on Lake Periyar to spot wild animals and a visit to the nearby tea estates and spice plantation.

Day 04 Thekkady/ Alleppey
After the breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive 04 hours to Alleppey enjoying the stunning panoramic view of the Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantation.
Embark into the Rice Barge - converted cargo boat for a lazy journey through the meandering backwaters as you watch local life going on by the banks. In the evening the boat will anchor safely for the night.
Day 05 Alleppey/ Cochin
Today after breakfast you will be transferred to Cochin. If time permits, proceed for a short unguided sight seeing of Cochin. Places of interest include the Jewish Synagogue; St. Francis Church, the Dutch Palace and the Chinese fishing nets. After the sight seeing, drive to Cochin Airport for your departure flight back to home.

Today after breakfast you will be driven 1 hour to Kumarakom- a home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. It is a noted bird sanctuary where many species of migratory birds visit. The Vembanad Lake, the largest backwater in Kerala, is habitat for many marine species and it teems with 'Karimeen' (Pearl Spotted Fish ), shrimp (chemmeen in local language) and prawns. The bird sanctuary extends over 14 acres (57,000 m²), and came into existence following preservation efforts from the government
Optional Bird Sanctuary visit or backwater cruise in the evening.

In the morning you will be transferred to Cochin for your departure flight or train.

Arrive Trivandrum railway station. You will be met on arrival and will be driven straight to Kanyakumari (100kms) On arrival at Kanyakumari check-in at your hotel. The major attractions are the Kumari Amman or the Kanyakumari Temple, located on the shore, is a Shakti Peetha dedicated to a manifestation of Parvati, the virgin goddess who did penance to obtain Lord Shiva's hand in marriage. The temple and the adjoining ghat, situated overlooking the shore, attract tourists from all over the world. The sparkling diamond nose-ring of the deity is said to be visible even from the sea.
Two rocks reach out of the ocean, southeast of the Kumari Amman temple. At one of these, Sri Padaparai, which is said to bear the footprints of the virgin goddess. Swami Vivekananda is said to have sat in deep meditation. It is also the site of Vivekananda Rock Memorial built in 1970. There is a dhyana mandapam, an area for meditation. Ferry services are available to reach the memorial
On an adjacent rock is the towering statue of the great Tamil poet-saint Tiruvalluvar. It is 133 ft tall and one of the biggest statues in Asia
The Gandhi Memorial has been built on the spot where the urn containing the Mahatma's ashes was kept for public viewing before immersion. Resembling central Indian Hindu temples in form, the memorial was designed so that on Mahatma Gandhi's birthday, October 2, the first rays of the sun fall on the exact place where his ashes were kept

It is the administrative headquarters of Alappuzha District. Alleppey has a wonderful past. Though the present town owes its existence to the sagacious Diwan Raja Kesavadas in the second half of 18th century, district of Alappuzha figures in classical Literature. Kuttanad, the rice bowl of Kerala with the unending stretch of paddy fields, small streams and canals with lush green coconut palms, was well known even from the early periods of the Sangam age. History says Alappuzha had trade relations with ancient Greece and Rome in B.C and in the Middle Ages, as well as with other parts of India.
